Continental Tire Street Machine Summer Nationals this Weekend in St. Paul
ST. PAUL, Minn. (July 12, 2022) — The Continental Tire Street Machine Summer Nationals are this weekend, Friday, July 15 through Sunday, July 17 at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul, MN.
Always a highlight for participants and spectators alike at the St. Paul Street Machine Summer Nationals is QA1 Autocross, which will challenge driver’s skills on a course with tight turns and tough competition.
QA1 will also host an open house at their headquarters in Lakeville for Street Machine Nationals registered participants on Friday morning and then will cruise to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
All weekend long, high-performance street machines, hot rods, street trucks and muscle cars will take to the QA1 Cruise Route inside the Fairgrounds to show off their rides.
The Dyno Challenge will test the true muscle of vehicles, measuring both horsepower and torque. The Burnout Competition will light up the main grandstand with screaming tires and plenty of smoke filling the air.
Numerous Pro-Judged Awards will be handed out in a variety of categories during the Show-N-Shine Contest. Back again this year is the Modern Muscle category for vehicles from the year 2012 to 2022, along with a new Import class for foreign vehicles. An Editor's Choice Award will be presented by Street Muscle Magazine from Power Auto Media.
Attendees can also shop the Performance Marketplace with industry-leading brands, offering the latest products and services, many offering special “Show Only” pricing.
Spectators can save money and time by purchasing discount tickets in advance online at www.streetmachinenationals.net. Tickets are $12 online (ages, 13+) through July 14, with children (ages 12-under) free. New this year, a Weekend Pass is available for $19 in advance and is only available online through July 14.
At the Gate, a 1-Day Adult ticket (ages 13+) is $17, with children ages 12-under free.
Participants can save when they register their vehicle before July 13 as the pre-registration price is $50. On-site registration will take place July 14-17 and is $65.
