   1910 International auto and Art Show May 5th to 8th

   Join us for a trip back in time at the original Model T complex. This is Where Henry built the first factory and designed and built the first 12,000+ Model T Fords in this location before they moved to Hilan Park.

   May 5th will also host an evening with Automotive Art for sale and display. Entertainment by the folk group “My Friends” and Steven Thomas will play some great jazz on the Sax.

   Also enjoy a slide show created by Richards Andrews, Noted Transportation Historian. Richard will take us back in time and show us what public transpostation was like in the early 1900’s in Detroit.

   Food will be supplied by Angels Catering.

   CLS Car Show and Community Event. This is the first in the Don Nicholson’s Charity Car Show series. Community living Services ( CLS) is a Non-profit organization that services the special needs community. Assisting people with life skills, job skills and services they need to have a better life.

   This is the Third Annual for this Event, Although the first year was a total rain out,, Car entry is $15.00 Lots of plaques, and plenty of food and entertainment. Located at the Metro Place Mall in Wayne Michigan on west bound Michigan Ave. just west of Wayne Road.

   The Skill Center Car Show. Another in the Don Nicholson’s Charity Car Show Series. This event was started in 2001 at the Automotive Hall of Fame. The event is now held at the Skill Center in Westland. Located on Ann Arbor Trail 1/4 mile west of Merriman.

   The Western Wayne Skill Center is a School for Special needs Young adults. Specilaizing in Job training and teaches skills to better interact in the community.

   This show has grown every year and is also held on the last Monday in June. Stop in for dinner, an ice cream and enjoy some great entertainment by the Six Foot Poles and look at some fantastic automobiles.

   Car entry is only $15.00

   July 8th is the Charity Kick off Party for Cruisin’ Michigan. We are happy to be partnering with the Automotive Hall of Fame to host the first Charity Kick off Party to Benefit the Dearborn Fire Fighters Burn Fund.

   This years event will host a Car show to raise money for the Burn Fund, there will also be special displays and food inside the AHF for a discounted price.

   Take a walk into the Hall of Fame for the Auto Industry and see who has helped grow the biggest manufacturing business in the world.

   July 9th is the 4th Annual Cruisin’ Michigan Ave. Event. Cruisin’ Michigan is a moving car show featuring cars from all ages and designs.

   The goals of Cruisin’ Michigan are multi functional. The event itself is promoted to bring car entusiasts together to show off thier prized possesions. The cars are the show.

   Then we help Charities put on concerts, or act as event vendors to help raise money for many community service groups.

   The next level is for the businesses along the route. We bring them customers. We do not book any outside vendors who would compete against the local merchants who are in business on Michigan Ave. 12 months of the year, We promote and advertise the event throughout Michigan as well as partner with other groups to advertise our events out of state to bring tourists to our area.

   Michigan Avenue is the first direct route conecting Detroit to Chicago. As we say at DNE,,, Join the Fun!

   July 22 will be the first Kick off Party for the Telegraph Cruise. We will be closing Warren Road from Telegraph west. and hosting a party. The Six Foot Poles and the Morris Murphy band will be entertaining, along with our host and MC Benny of Benny and the Jets.

   Classic cars and hot rods will line the side of Warren Rd. with vendors down the middle.

   Join us in kicking off the Telegraph Cruise and getting the weekend started. Join the Fun!

   July 23 The Telegraph Cruise was started 7 years ago by the owner of the Traction Bar in Dearborn Heights. The Cruise has since taken on a life of its own.

   This year we are putting out a program for all the great events happening at th eCruise in Dearborn Heights.

   Aug 13 will be the first year for “Cruisin’ in the MotorCity”. This event was originally known as Future Cruise. This years renaming and re-organisation will be in interesting addition to the other cruises and auto events in S.E. Michigan. A Taste of everything automotive. We will be displaying race cars at the Motorsports Hall of Fame, Sleek fancy automobiles at the DIA and Alternative fuel cars at the Science Center and other displays as we close John R in the Museum District.

   Classic cars and hot rods will also line the street along with vendors. The event as will all of our events is free to spectators. Join the Fun!

   Aug. 28th is the first ever Cruisin’ Hines. If you grew up in the area and you are 60+ or younger,, You already Cruised Hines. Now we have one special day for all the cruisers to come together and show off thier rides. Dash Plaques will be given out to the first 500 cars who register the day of the cruise.

   We will have food vendors and product vendors set up in prime spots along the route. Spectators will have access at difernt locations and areas for enjoying the show.

   Brand and Model parades will be set up on the hour. So expect to see a line up of your favorite car.

   This is the only cruise where the road is closed and only allows classic cars and hot rods.

   Sept 24, Last but not least, The All american Cruise. This cruise will be the first North South East West Cruise around. The event will travel on four different roads, Central City Parkway, Warren Road, Wayne Road and Ford road in Westland.

   Be ready for the last big car event of the summer. We will have Restaraunts and businesses along the route hosting all kinds of different parties.
